Christmas 2020

AND I WANT MADKIDS PODCAST LIMITED EDITION CHRISTMAS TIME.” “MADKIDS podcast limited edition Christmas is now playing.” “Hey… What’s up, everyone! This week is week one of our limited Christmas time newsletters! Basically, that means that all our December newsletters will be related to Christmas.

Who created Christmas?

It is stated that Christmas started back in 336 bc from the roman empire. As said, the Roman empire created Christmas but there is no name of this person. He is “anonymous” the Romans celebrated this holiday by going out in the streets naked gambling and dancing. They also drank, ate, and screamed their lungs out. It was kind of like thanksgiving for the Roman Empire.

Why do we celebrate Christmas?

The question of Christmas that you probably never think about is: Why do we celebrate Christmas? That answer is for most kids, to get presents. But for adults, It’s to spend time with family Some people think we celebrate it because it was the day that Jesus was born. Others think it’s to give thanks. But based on google, she says it’s ‘cause it’s Jesus’s birthday. The origin of the word ‘Christmas’ come from two words ‘Christ’ and ‘mass’. Christ meaning Jesus Christ and mass the meaning a central act of worship.

Why are green and red Christmas colors?

Have you ever passed by the colors red and green during Christmas time? And have you ever wondered WHY they are Christmas colors? These two colors have been colors of Christmas for many many years. As I explained, Christmas was celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus, these colors had something to do with him. Green represented the external life of Jesus. Red represents the bloodshed of his crucifixion.

A good movie to watch during the 1st week of December…

A good movie to watch during December is Christmas Chronicles 1 or 2. Christmas chronicles are based on the Christmas holiday. Two siblings are on a quest to capture Santa. When something goes on, they join forces with Santa and his elves to save this holiday.

Aunnie’s art review

Introduction

What reminds you of Christmas? For me, Christmas reminds me of it snowing, trees having snow on it, and people smiling with joy. So that is why I’m writing about this art called snow at Argenteuil by Claude Monet. I decided that I would choose this art because it is like a Christmas that is snowed and kids are so happy that they take a walk outside.

About the artist

The artist is Claude Monet, who was born on November 14, 1840, died on December 5, 1926, how sad. Claude Monet was married to two women’s the first one was Camille Doncieux then he married Alice Hoschedé. He first married Camille Doncieux and had one baby then she died so he married Alice Hoschedé so they had another kid. Here is a fact about Claude Monet is that He Serviced as a soldier in Algeria. The artist has 2,500 paintings, that is a lot! He used 4 paintbrushes for all his artworks

About the art

Snow at Argenteuil brushstrokes looks different because it is an oil on caves which is an oil painting. He made that in his house he usually would make art in his studio. The colors are blue, gray and if you look closely then you’ll see small strikes of green, yellow, red, and dark blue. I think that this painting takes place on the road. I see 2 kids, a road filled with snow, white trees, and some buildings in the background. This art makes me feel cold because we don’t have snow in California so we would go to the mountings in the mountains it is very cold(once I ate snow)

Rate the art

I give the art 10 ratings because it is like I’m there in the art, so realistic. I love it, It looks like the snow is overlapping the snow, trees, and bushes. It is like I’m in the mountains with soft white snow.

Drake’s Break

Kangaroo

Introduction

Hop, hop! What is that sound? It has to be something that likes to hop around. A monkey, a squall? What is that sound? Where does it live? Does it live on the ground? Or in the pound? It lives in zoos or sometimes in Australia. What am I? Monkey! Squall! Oof not it. Um, um…. Tiger! Bear! Psittacosaurus! What? No, not a dinosaur! Oh. Do you guys want to know the answer? Yes! Yes! Yes! Yeah! Okay Okay. it’s…… kangaroo! Uh, I was gonna say that.

Why I chose this animal

I chose this animal because I was gonna do reindeer but I searched up Christmas animals and saw one animal was a kangaroo and then I saw it and I wanted to do it. I did this animal because in Australia a song called “six white boomers” tells how it’s too hot for reindeers. So he makes a song. And Santa's reindeer’s prancer, dasher, cupid, dancer, vixen, comet, donder, bilten, and Rudolph get some rest. Meanwhile, the six white boomers (harris, rolf, joey, brown, john D, and joey) are riding with Santa.

Facts/environment

Kangaroos are marsupial animals. Here is a true fact I can tell you about kangaroos being mammals instead of marsupials: reptiles, aves (birds), amphibians, Cetaceans, marsupials, Rodents, monotremes, and primates are all mammalians which are mammals. Kangaroos are the only species of marsupial that can hop. I used to think that kangaroos are primates, then I thought “are kangaroos mammals?” But then I realized that kangaroos have a pouch to hold the joey, So then I thought Or are they marsupials?” So I searched on the web “are kangaroos mammals or are they a marsupial?” And the answer is it’s a marsupial! If you ask “can a kangaroo kill humans” here's the answer: In July 2011, a Male common kangaroo (aka red kangaroo) attacked a 94-year-old woman, but good thing 2 cars of cops were there, And do you know what happened after? The red kangaroo was sprayed with capsicum (kap·suh·km(pepper).

species

There are about 20 species of kangaroos worldwide. Here are only 3 species: meet the common Red kangaroo and the western and Eastern grey kangaroo and Western grey kangaroo. These are the common species but there's a lot more to go.

My review

I’ll give this animal 9 stars because I like fast animals because it's fast as the speed of light. Average kangaroo:43 mph,10lbs fastest human is the world:28mph speed of light:670 616 629 miles per hour.
